Claudette L. Douglas

Age 68 of Fairfield Township (formerly a Lindenwald resident) passed away March 28, 2010. She was born June 18, 1941 in Hamilton, OH, the daughter of Arthur Schwartz and Leona Dilley. On September 19, 1959, she married Benny B. Douglas in Hamilton. Claudette was a member of the Fairfield Church of Christ, ACES (Active Christian Enthusiastic Seniors), Altar Rosary Society and the "Little Group".
She leaves behind her children, Jennifer Douglas of West Chester and Doug (Kimberly) Douglas of Liberty Township and grandchildren, Alyssa and Zachary; brothers, James Schwartz and Marvin Dilley; and nieces, nephews, many dear friends and her beloved Brutus. Claudette was preceded in death by her husband, Benny B. Douglas; sister, JoAnn Allen; brother, Jerome Schwartz; and her parents.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. - until time of service (12 Noon), Thursday, April 8, 2010 at Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield, OH 45014. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Memorials may be made to the Animal Friends Humane Society, 1820 Princeton Rd., Hamilton, OH 45011.
