Claudette (Gillespie), age 68, of Mt Healthy was born on December 3, 1948 at General Hospital in Cincinnati to the late Claude and Mildred Gillespie.
God called Claudette home on December 9, 2016. Claudette moved to North Carolina on September 27, 1998 upon the marriage to the late Billie McClurkin, she did various kinds of work on different jobs. She finally settled at Rose’s Department Store until her death.
She leaves to cherish her love and memories; two sisters, Alma Moore and Gloria (Daniel Jr.) Smiley; three nieces, Monica, Karen, and Tonya; four nephews, Earnest Jr, Marcus, Daniel III, and David; Four great nephews, Andre, Camen, Jayline, and Jalell; sisters in laws and brothers in law, Beverly Murray, Michael (Diane) McClurkin, Jerry (Ella) McClurkin, and Virgil McClurkin. Claudette is also survived by her dear friends, Brenda Miller and Tracy Cross and a host of other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands,Danny Willis and Billie McClurkin; sisters, Willa Gibson and Angelique Gillespie.
A scattering of her cremains and a celebration of her life will be Saturday December 31, 2016 at 10 a.m. at the lake at the Arlington Memorial Gardens, 2145 Compton Rd., Mt. Healthy, Ohio 45231.
