WRIGHT
Rev. Cleadus G., age 83 of Hamilton passed away on August 16, 2012 at Fort Hamilton Hughes Hospital. Rev. Wright was born in Jackson Co. KY, on July 3, 1929 to Johnny and Georgia (nee Wyrick) Wright. Cleadus was united in marriage to Berniece Cook on June 9, 1947
He is the beloved husband for 65 years to Berniece; loving father of Rick (Billie Jo) Wright of Waddell, AZ, Rudy (Debbie) Wright of Hamilton, Pam (Jack) Hubbard of Fairfield, and Paula (Mike) Bachmann of Hamilton; dear grandfather to Tony (Shawn)Wright, Rosemary (John) Ramey, Michael (Carrie) Wright, Shelly (Shawn) Wise, Sarah, Erin, and Katie Hubbard; step grandchildren, Bobbie and Jessica (Manny); much adored great grandchildren, Austin, Shelby, Kori, Camryn, Taylor, Morgan, Gavin, Braden, Kaelyn, Caleb, Ryan; 6 step great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Carl (Susie) of Louisville, KY and his sister Eva Mae (Charles) Clifford of Fairfield.
Cleadus was employed by Fisher Body Hamilton for 37 years holding various positions and retired in 1987 as a counselor, active with the UAW local 233 as shop chairman and counselor; National Rifle Association; member of F & AM Washington Lodge 17 and Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite Valley of Cincinnati.
An ordained minister, he served as pastor to Walker Chapel Baptist Church in Riley and Governor's Park Baptist Church where he retired after 15 years of service. Cleadus is a member of the Fairfield North Baptist Church.
He loved to garden, spending time with his precious family, Kentucky Wildcats, Reds baseball, and many other sports including bowling.
His grandchildren and great grandchildren were the love of his life.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Vernon, McClellon, Lowell, and Billy.
Visitation will be Sunday August 19, 2012 from 3-6 p.m. at the Avance Funeral Home and Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield, OH 45014.
Washington Lodge 17 services will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday followed by Scottish Rite Services.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at Fairfield North Baptist Church, 6853 Gilmore Rd., Hamilton, OH 45011.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Fairfield North Baptist Church building fund.
