Clifford Allen Sutton
August 1, 1935 — December 12, 2007
Age 72 of Fairfield passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2007 at Mercy Hospital of Fairfield. He was born August 1, 1935 in Stubenville, OH, the son of Donald and Emma (McCabe) Sutton. On September 9, 1961 Clifford married Evvy Jewel Mericle in Hamilton. He worked for Ford Motor Company until retirement; was a member of UAW # 863 and St. Clair Avenue Baptist Church.
Clifford is survived by his wife, Evvy Sutton; his children, Richard Sutton and Mary (Mike) Setser; and grandchildren, Brooke and Brandy Setser. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Theodore Sutton.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m., Monday, December 17, 2007 at the St. Clair Avenue Baptist Church, 695 St. Clair Ave., Hamilton, OH 45015 with Pastor Don Dewey officiating. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6:30 - 8:30 p.m., Sunday at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield.
