Cora E. Talbert

Cora E. Talbert of Fayetteville, WV died at age 70 on Wednesday October 19, 2005 in Hamilton, OH after a long illness. Cora was born on May 8th, 1935 in Fayette County, WV. Cora was preceded in death by her parents Earl and Donza Hitchcock; her husband Charles Madison Talbert; and infant son Gary Wayne Talbert; as well as several brothers and sisters. Cora was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by 5 sons: Charles (Donna) of N.C., Michael (Kathy), James, Jerry (Tara), Terry (Michelle) all of VA; 4 daughters: Barbara Sue Garcia (Henry) of NM, Patty Case (Larry) of PA, Mary Saye of WV, and Cindy Johnson (Mark) of Ohio; 20 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren; and 3 brothers. Cora was an active member of Pleasant View Church of the Brethren until the time of her illness. She was very involved with the community and to those around her. Cora was one who placed the needs of others before herself. She will be greatly missed by all who had the great fortune to be a part of her life. We love you Mom. Visitation will be 2 to 3 p.m

Saturday October 22, 2005 at the Pleasant View Church of the Brethren, Gatewood Rd., Fayetteville, WV with services beginning at 3 p.m. immediately following visitation. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery. The family will accept condolences at www.avancefuneralhome.com.
