Coretta Oaks (Oaks) Farthing

FARTHING Coretta Oaks, age 79, of Hamilton passed away on February 2, 2014. She was born on November 29, 1934 in Stanton, KY to Chester and Gladys (nee Whisman) Oaks. Coretta married William King Farthing on August 3, 1957 in Hamilton, OH. She leaves to her memory her beloved husband William; loving son, Philip of Bethel Park, PA; dear granddaughters, MaggieMae Farthing and Joclin Broski; siblings, Sharon Farthing and Mike Oaks; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Coretta is preceded in death by her parents, and her daughter Lisa k Farthing. The family wishes to acknowledge the staff of the Westover Retirement Community for the love, care and friendship for Coretta during her stay there. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 5, 2014 from 11 a.m.- 12 p.m. at the Avance Funeral Home and Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield, OH 45014.
