Daniel Hruska
July 11, 1925 — December 9, 2008
Age 83, of Fairfield Township, formally of Howland Township, Ohio, passed away, Tuesday, December 9, 2008. He was bron July 11, 1925 in Farmdale, Ohio the son of Michael and Mary (Trnavsky) Hruska. He graduated from Gustavus High School on 1943 and went on to join the United States Army. On December 6, 1947 Daniel married Donna Marie Bower in Farmdale. He retired from being an Electric Supervisor at Van Huffel Tube in Warren, Ohio, in 1984. Daniel was a lifelong member of the VFW and an avid wood worker.
Daniel leaves behind his wife of 61 years, Donna Marie Hruska; children, Eric (Lorrie) Hruska, Leah (Dean) Devin, and Bonnie (Bill) Pettigrew; grandchildren, Jeremy, Danae, and Matthew; step grandchildren, Jo Marie, Michael, and Stephanie; step great grandchildren, John, Victoria, Abby, and Monica; and siblings, Paul (Julie) Ruska of Texas, and Helen Richarson of Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents; half brother, John Kocka; and half sister, Millie Knotck.
Service will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the Lord of Life Lutheran Church 6329 Tylersville Rd, West Chester, Ohio 45069.
