Daniel Thomas Mikesell

Daniel Thomas Mikesell, age 73, passed away at his Fairfield residence on Friday, April 26, 2024. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio, the son of Charles and Marjorie (Weiss) Mikesell. He was employed at Midwest Electric, then Archiable Electric until he retired in 2005. He was a member of Local 212 IBEW, Cincinnati Ohio for 49 years. Danny served in the United States Air Force from 1969 thru 1973. On June 7, 1975, he married Diana L. Walker.  He was a lifelong member of Sacred Heart Church. He is survived by his wife, Diana L. Mikesell, of Fairfield, Ohio, two sons, Timothy (Heidi) Mikesell of Madison, Alabama, Steven Mikesell of Hamilton, Ohio, one daughter, Carisa Mikesell, of Summerville, South Carolina, a brother, Charles (Zelinda) Mikesell, two sisters, Jennifer (Pat) Hogan and Karen (Carl) Willig, and sister in law, Mary Mikesell of Fairfield, and wonderful aunt, Barbara Zipperman of Minneapolis, MN, six beautiful grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and numerous special friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, David C. Mikesell. We wish to thank Hospice of Cincinnati for all their support. In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorials to St. Vincent De Paul of Sacred Heart Church, Fairfield Ohio.  Family and friends are invited to attend Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Church, 400 Nilles Road, Fairfield Ohio, on May 9th at 1030AM.  Visitation will be from 930AM until time of Mass.  Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hamilton Ohio.  www.avancefuneralhome.com
