David D. Browe

David Decker Browe passed away at the age of 72 on January 3, 2023. Dave was born to Shirley and Henry Browe on January 26, 1950 in Chicago, IL. Dave moved to Cincinnati, OH in 1967 where he graduated from St. Xavier High School and went on to attend and graduate from University of Dayton. He met his wife Jill Browe (Lampe) in 1970 and they married on June 23, 1973. Dave is survived by: his wife Jill Browe, daughter Robyn Browe, daughter Betsy Browe (Greg Staten), and daughter Ellen Wolpert (Matthew Wolpert) along with their children Josephine, Decker, Arden and Francis. Dave was survived by his siblings Penny Rave, Scott Browe, Mark Browe, Rick Browe and Barb Fox. Dave was a dedicated and loving family man.  He had a sense of humor that was unique and playful that drew everyone in with his one liners and constant playful teasing. He loved his wife unconditionally and showed us all what true love and sacrifice looks like. Dave was a kidney transplant pioneer as he was the 8th person in Ohio to receive a kidney transplant in 1968 donated by his mother and a second kidney transplant in 1982 donated by his brother, Mark. He will be missed and he will be celebrated. In lieu of flowers send donations to National Kidney Foundation. A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at 10:30am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 400 Nilles Rd., Fairfield, Ohio 45014 with Father Larry Tharp, Celebrant.
