David Franklin Walker

David Franklin Walker, age 81, passed away on November 5, 2022 after a long battle with cancer.  He was born August 18, 1941 to the late Clayburn and Dora Walker.  He is survived by his wife Montez Willis Walker, and children John Walker (Rachael), Heather Walker Smith (Stephen), Renee Green (Steve) his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. David was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Lora Eliza Walker Collins (David). David will be remembered for his stories that would hold an audience.  Many centered on his family, serving in the Army, playing football at Randolph Macon College, work adventures in pharmaceutical sales, and in his later years the vacations he enjoyed so much in Cancun and the Cayman Islands.  He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. The family will host A Celebration of Life Service Sunday, November 27, 2022 from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM at Avance Funeral Home, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield, OH 45014.  In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be sent to the American Cancer Society.
