Donald E. Baecker

Baecker, Donald E. was born in Hamilton, Ohio to Mildred and Albert Baecker in 1926. He passed peacefully on October 3, at Hospice of Dayton. He was preceded in death by his brothers, "Jack" John, Robert and his parents. Don leaves behind his sister-in-laws, Margaret Baecker and Vernell Baecker, his devoted nephew, Todd (Barb) Baecker and nephews Dana Baecker and John Baecker, nieces Jill (Jeff) Shrader, Lynn (Kyle) Fisk, great nieces, Kristen, Taylor, Ellie and Jenna, great nephews, Jordan and Zachary and a host of other family and friends. He lived in Hamilton, OH until 1999 until moving to the Dayton area. Don was the owner and operator of the Avenue Pharmacy for 45 years and a member of the Calvary Church. He proudly served in WWII in the Pacific arena. He enjoyed vacationing at his home at Cumberland Lake and spending time with his family. Don will be deeply missed by all his family and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday October 9, 2013 from 10 a.m.until time of service at 12 p.m. with Larry Uzen officiating at the Avance Funeral Home and Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd. Fairfield, OH 45014.
