As a dedicated member of Hilltop Baptist Church, he found solace and strength in his relationship with God. He cherished his Bible, hymnal music, and singing in the church choir. His love for God was evident in his everyday actions and interactions. He enjoyed traveling to waterfronts and being outdoors, where he could often be found gardening, fishing, camping, and watching his children and grandchildren compete in sports. Raised in Columbus, he was a proud alumnus and lifelong fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes. He also enjoyed attending Cincinnati Bengals football and Cincinnati Reds baseball games. Donald's career in retail was a testament to his dedication and service. He spent many years working at The Home Depot in Southwestern Ohio, a place he loved because it allowed him to help people.
