Donald Stanley Mussman died peacefully at home surrounded by family July 24th, 2010 at the age of 83.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Vivian Joye (Wood); son Donald Mussman Jr.; brother, Byron Mussman and his parents.
He was born March 9th 1927 in Cincinnati, OH to Stanley and Geneva (Beckman) Mussman. He is a veteran of WWII, serving in the US Navy in the Pacific Campaign from May 1944 to Oct 1947. He worked for the Ford Motor Company for 36 years before retiring in 1986.
He is survived by 3 children, Steven (Maureen) Mussman, Elizabeth Campbell, and Judith (Peter) Roesch; sister, Ruth Auvil. He was the loving grandfather of Scotty, Diana (Wagbo) and Kate (Paulson) Mussman, Christopher and Stacey Campbell, Sarah, Brian and Kevin Roesch and Great Grandfather to Logan & Avigail Mussman, Carter & Emma Wagbo and Eylisia & Natalie Paulson.
Visitation will be 10 a.m until time of service (11 a.m.), Thursday, July 29th at Avance Funeral Home and Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd, Fairfield, OH 45014 with Pastor Roy Wigal officiating. Military honors will be conducted immediately following at Rosehill Burial Park, 2421 Princeton Road Hamilton, OH 45011.
