Donald Paul Tiefenbach

TIEFENBACH, Donald Paul was born on November 8, 1920 to James and Josephine (Sehlhorst) Tiefenbach, passed from this earthly life October 18, 2015 after a short stay at Sanctuary Point Nursing and Rehab Center. Don was a lifelong Butler County resident; served in the Army during WWII; and worked for Roemer Hardware before he began his career as a purchasing agent for General Electric in Evendale. Family and friends knew him as a soft spoken, loving, and caring person who enjoyed keeping a beautiful garden and a meticulous lawn. Don is survived by his sister, Martha Kugler; brother in law, Charles Lake; two nieces; two nephews; and their extended families. He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Audrey Lake and Ruth Kammer; and brother in law, Eugene Kammer. Visitation for family and friends will be Friday October 23, 2015 from 1-2 p.m. at the Avance Funeral Home and Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield, OH 45014. Funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be offered to Vitas Hospice Care, 11500 Northlake Dr., Suite 400, Cincinnati, OH 45249.
