Don's brother James Zentmeyer lives with his wife Margie in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Don lived a full and successful life and had a strong positive influence on his three children and six grandchildren. He was loved by all who knew him for his patience, dependability, quiet sense of humor and integrity. Don worked for Cincinnati Bell as an inside switchman at the Madisonville Exchange for 39 years, from 1948-1987. His retirement years were filled with travelling and playing clarinet in various bands such as the Sycamore Community Band and church groups. He was a popular guy at Mason Christian Village where he entertained residents with his clarinet and became known for his smile and upbeat approach to life. While his presence will be missed greatly by all those who knew him here on earth, his spirit is now with his beloved Juanita, wife for 63 years and with whom he is now united again for eternity.

The family appreciates the loving care that Don received in his last years from those who work at Mason Christian Village. He truly felt loved and content there.

You may send condolences to the family by the link on this website. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Don's honor to the Compassionate Care Fund at Mason Christian Village, 411 Western Row Road, Mason , Ohio.
