Donna Bowling
August 23, 1930 — February 27, 2004
Donna J. Bowling, age 73 of Fairfield, passed into eternity at Mercy Hospital Fairfield on Friday, February 27, 2004. She was born August 23, 1930 in Hamilton, the daughter of Dale and Nancy (Weaver) Bower. On December 15, 1951 she married Harold Bowling in Hamilton. They enjoyed 50 years of marriage until Harold's death on November 10, 2002. Donna had been a loving and active member of Rolling Hills Baptist Church for many years.
Mrs. Bowling is survived by her children, Tom Bowling of Hamilton, John Bowling of St. Petersburg, FL, Jane Lewis of Scottsdale, AZ, Tim Bowling of Hamilton, Susan Bartoe of Hamilton, and Dixie Johnson of Fairfield; grandchildren, Meredith Bowling, Khristopher Corrington, Kathryn (David) Deangelo, Lori (Mike) Trammel, and Michael (Judy) Dillingham; great-grandchildren, Corey Bowling, Julia Trammel, Kayla Deangelo and Myeshia Dillingham; sisters, Amanda Simpson of Hamilton and Judy Cooper of Anna Maria Island, FL; and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and grandson, Johnathon Bowling.
Funeral services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., (Today) Monday March 1, 2004 at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield. The family will accept condolences at www.avancefuneralhome.com.
