Dora A Phillips (nee Ballinger), devoted wife of the late John Phillips (47 years), loving mother of Jean Carter, stepmother of Pat (George) Parker, beloved daughter of the late William and Rosa Ballinger, passed away November 1, 2005, at the age of 96 (born April 23, 1909). Preceded in death by her sister Edna Ivins and brother Carl Ballinger. Adored grandmother of R. Wayne (Floretta) Carter, Douglas R. (Colleen) Carter, Donna G. Carter, Debra C. Miller (Stan), Susan D. Burchell (Michael), David M. (Denise) Carter, Janet M. Carter, stepgrandmother to Douglas (Lavonna) Crowley, Vickie Crowley, Gary (Kathy) Crowley, Linette White. Also survived by great grandchildren Jessica Carter, Brittney and Douglas Carter, James Burchell; great great grandchild Zachary Carter. Survived by many devoted friends and relatives, long-time resident of Lockland, OH. Visitation service for family and friends begins at 12:00 noon, Saturday, November 5th at Avance Funeral Home, 4976 Winton Rd, Fairfield, OH, with the funeral service also on Saturday beginning at 1:00pm.
