Doris Grimes

Jean Grimes went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, December 26th after an extended illness.

Jean was born on March 19,1929 in Corbin, KY, graduating from Lily High School in 1947. On

September 16th,1950 Jean married the love of her life, Paul E. Grimes. Paul and two sons,Paul

Gary (tari) and Donald (Roxanna) survive to cherish her memory. Two sons, Edward Cameron,

and Darryl Lynn died at birth.

Jean had servant heart and always sought to help others. She was a member of First Baptist

Church, Hamilton and was active in her Keenagers Sunday school class. She loved caring for

her home and helping others, often visiting shut-ins.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband and sons; her grandchildren Lori, Matthew,

Jesicca, and Emily and great grandchildren Christhoper, Megan, and Mason. Great great grandchild Finnley

She is also surived by her brother Bill Parsons(Mary Lou) of Fairfield and one sister,

Evelyn Martin of Hamilton Oh.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, and her siblings, John Cameron Parsons,

Lucy Adeline Hopkins, Clarence Edward Parsons, Carl Vernon Parsons, Glen Douglas, Harold

L. Parsons and Allie Faye Lawson.

Visitation will be Sunday December 29, 2012 from 2-4 p.m. at the Avance Funeral Home and Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield, Ohio 45014. Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. at the funeral home with Dr. Dennis Metzger officiating.
