Doris May Stangby

Age 78 of Fairfield, OH passed away June 15, 2010 at Hospice of Hamilton. She was born in Hamilton on May 15, 1932 the daughter of Mark and Elsie (Liddil) Brown.
Doris was married to Norman Stangby in 1980. She owned and operated Red's Hamburger Shop in New Miami, OH for the last 43 years.
She is lovingly survived by her son; Rick (Millie) Helsinger of West Chester, OH, brothers; David Brown of Fairfield, OH and John Brown of Cincinnati, OH and sisters; Mary Burlinghoff of Jacksonville, FL, Jean Schick of Fairfield, OH and Rachel Summersell of Cincinnati, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband; Arthur Helsinger, current husband; Norman Stangby in 1998, son; Terry Helsinger and brother; Mark Brown. Doris will be deeply missed by many.
The visitation will be Thursday, June 17, 2010 from 5-8 p.m. at the Avance Funeral Home, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, June 18 at 10 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Church with Father Larry Tharp celebrant. Burial will follow at Morrow Cemetery in Morrow, Ohio.
