Doris O. Vanneman

Age 89 of Fairfield, formerly of Woodbury, NJ and Hudson, FL went home to be with her Lord September 28, 2007. Doris was born February 26, 1918 in Woodbury, NJ, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Olson. On November 26, 1932 she married Charles Austin Vanneman. Doris loved nothing more than making her house a home for her family to enjoy, listening to her ministers on the radio, and engaging in seasonal activities.

Doris is survived by her children, Joyce (Bruce) Kincade of Tarpon Springs, FL, Jean Williams of New Port Richey, FL, Ray (Joyce) Vanneman of Fairfax, VA and Don (Anne) Vanneman of Fairfield, OH; 11 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren with 2 on the way. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 5 brothers; and 1 sister.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. - until time of service (7:30 p.m.), Tuesday October 2, 2007 at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield.

Guests are invited to attend the service to commemorate Doris's life. Entombment will be in Hudson, FL at Grace Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Hamilton, 896 NW Washington Blvd., Hamilton, OH 45013. Condolences may be sent at www.avancefuneralhome.com.
