Dorothy Lee (Taylor) Barnette

BARNETTE, Dorothy Lee (nee Taylor)

age 88 of Fairfield, Ohio passed away peacefully March 25, 2024.  She was born November 12, 1935, in Alvin, Kentucky to Fred and Bertha Taylor.  Dorthy was preceded in death by Robert Barnette, loving husband of 67 years, her daughter Cathy Greene and sisters Erma Meadows and Grace King.

Dorthy is survived by daughter Judy Greis (Larry) and son Ralph Barnette (Joanne).  She is also survived by siblings Mildred Alexander, Ila Stephens, Ray Taylor (Brenda) and Betty Bryant.

Those who knew Dorthy remember her love and enthusiasm for her grandchildren Cara Farmer, Justin Greene, Lyndsey Hodzic, Matt and Kyle Greis, Jennifer Combs, Nicholas, Andrew, and Abbey Barnette. Great grandchildren Tyler, Alyssa, Wyatt, Emma, Elenora, Vivian, Haily, Max, Colin, Thomas, Lucas, Everett, and great grandson E.J.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. – until time of Memorial Service,(12 Noon), Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Road, Fairfield, Ohio, 45014 with Pastor Cecil Day officiating.
