Dorothy (Gaskins) Bryant

Dorothy Gaskins Bryant of Fairfield, Ohio died on November 3, 2020.  Born February 15, 1924 in Russell Springs, Kentucky.  Daughter of Alfred Thomas Gaskins and Flora Ashbrook Gaskins.  United in marriage to Charles Bryant on July 11, 1942 in Russell Springs, Kentucky.  Surviving are their 3 children, Daughter, Claudia Bryant Elam & husband Jaime from Lawrenceburg KY, Son, Elliot Bryant & wife Jill from Fairfield, Ohio, Son, Thomas Bryant from Fairfield Twp., Ohio and daughter-in-law, Georgiana Bryant.  Five grandchildren, Charles Martin Terry & wife Heather from Lawrenceburg KY, Aimie Bryant Kemp & husband Garry from Willis, Texas, Matthew Thomas Bryant from Fairfield, OH, Elizabeth Bryant Marquette & husband Jon from Fairfield Twp., OH, Kelly Bryant Lieser & husband Tom from Cincinnati, OH; Ten great-grandchildren Graham Kemp, Hanna Terry, Lydia Terry, Marley Kemp, Max Marquette, Nora Bryant, Jillian Marquette, George Lieser, Flora Lieser, Grace Lieser.  Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and cousins.  Dorothy was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Gaskins, mother, Flora Gaskins, husband, Charles Bryant, two brothers, Malcom and Morris Gaskins and sister Ama Holt.  Dorothy was a charter member of Rolling Hills Baptist Church in Fairfield, Ohio.  A graveside service and burial will be in Bethel Cemetery in Russell Springs, KY.
