Dorothy Ellen (Sparks) Dronberger

Dorothy Ellen (Dottie) Dronberger, (Nee Sparks), passed away peacefully at home on Sunday November 11th, 2018. Born on March 7, 1934 in Hamilton, Ohio to E. Stanton Sparks (Sparky) and Virginia (Cherrington) Sparks.  She was a 1952 graduate of Hamilton High School and a graduate of University of Cincinnati.  Married the love of her life Robert H. Dronberger Feb. 21, 1953. They were blessed with four children. Dottie is survived by her husband Robert, her children Gary (Beth) Dronberger: Lea Ann (Kevin) Baron: Linda (Kevin) Clark: Lisa Dronberger (Pete Kreke), 10 grandchildren, Andy (Melissa) Dronberger, Andrew (Ann) Beiber, Cori (Gary) Gates, Keeley (Wes) Hardin, Allisen (Tony) Morgan, Tyler (Tranae Jones) Baron, Cameron Clark, Colton (Catelyn Digiacomo) Clark, Tara (Kyle) Cecil, Lauren (Anthony) Helton and 10 amazing great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister Gloria Jean Sparks.  She is retired from the Butler County Health Department.  She was a 50 year member of Eastern Star.

Dottie’s greatest joy in life was her family.  She felt very blessed by her amazing group of friends.

Her final selfless act was donating her body to The Department of Medical Education/Body Donation Program.  University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.

A Memorial service will be held Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Lindenwald United Methodist Church, 3501 Pleasant Ave., Hamilton OH.  Receiving friends and family from 4:00-5:00 pm.  Memorial Services will begin at 5: 00pm.

Words can’t describe how blessed we all were to know and love her and be loved by her.

In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to a charity of your choice or Lindenwald United Methodist Church in memory of Dottie Dronberger.
