Dorothy E. Fritsch
Dorothy Evelyn Fritsch, age 88, of Hamilton passed away Sunday, February 15, 2004 at Vitas Hospice of Ft. Hamilton. She was born March 29, 1915 in Butler County, the daughter of Bernard and Hazel (Smith) Borgerson. In 1939 she married Victor H. Fritsch at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Hamilton. Mr. Fritsch preceded her in death April 10, 1981. She was a member of : St. Julie Billiart; American Legion Aux. #138; Cooperative Service League; Senior Citizens of Hamilton; and AARP.
She is survived by her sister, Mildred Engler; sisters-in-law Rita Fritsch and Marie Richter; many nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and 1 nephew.
Prayers will be offered 9:30 a.m., Thursday, February 19, 2004 at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Farifield. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m., also Thursday, at St. Julie Billiart Church, 224 Dayton St., Hamilton. Burial will follow at St. Stephen Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: St. Julie Billiart; Colonial Foundation; or Maureen Fritsch Cancer Foundation c/o Hamilton Community Foundation.
