Dorothy Jane Wert

Age 90 of Trenton passed away Saturday, September 23, 2006 to be with the Lord. She was born August 12, 1916 in Annville, KY, the daughter of Robert and Cora (Davis) Akeman. On September 9, 1972 she married Harlan Wert. Dorothy was a member of Twinbrook Hills Baptist Church.

She is survived by her children, Jackie (Oliver) Nieman, Larry (Connie) Knodel, Kenneth (Donna) Knodel; daughter-in-law, Irene Quisenberry;

Step children, Virgnia (Robert) Rucker, Dennis (Ceil) Wert, Harlan Wert, Jr., Gary Wert, and Michael (Donna) Wert; Sixty-two grandchildren; and numerous loving friends and family members. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Robert Knodel, Sr. and Harlan Wert, Sr.; son, Robert Quisenberry; and two grandchildren, Arletta Shanks and Becky Hughes.

The family wishes to express a sincere thanks to her doctors, Andrew Hear, Bhupendra Mahida, and Pius Manavalan, as well as, the dialysis center of Fairfield, and the professional care giving staff of Ft. Hamilton Hospital.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, September 27, 2006 at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield with Pastor Dennis Riddick officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Twinbrook Hills Baptist Church, Hamilton, OH .
