Douglas P. Allen

Age 49, passed away Friday, August 31, 2007. He was born April 25, 1958, in Hamilton, son of Ernest and Peggy (nee Cameron) Allen. Doug was a 1976 graduate of Garfield High School. He was employed by Machintek Corp. for 10 years and was president of FMXS, LLC.

He enjoyed bowling , cooking, landscaping, fishing, the outdoors, a good campfire, fine dining, a good conversation, helping others, and coaching Little League. He especially enjoyed his time with his children.

Doug is survived by his children, Megan Renee� and Aaron Tell; parents, Ernie and Peggy Allen; one brother, Ronald (Becky) Allen of Bradenton, FL; one sister, Cindy (Greg) Pate of Fairfield Township; mother of his children, Cindy (Phipps) Allen; niece, Sarah Allen of Berlin, Germany; nephews, Mark Allen of Garner, NC, Chris and Matt Pate of Fairfield Township; aunts and uncles, Maury and Carolyn Allen of Hamilton, Ray and Lula Dziadek of Alamo, TX; special friends, Karen, Tom, Dave, and Rick; as well as many other close friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wood and Mae Allen, John and Una (Cameron) Humphrey; uncles, Don and Paul Allen; aunt, Kathryn (Cameron) McNew.

Visitation will be 5 - 8 p.m., Tuesday, September 4, 2007 at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, in Fairfield. Funeral service will be 11a.m., Wednesday, September 5, 2007, also at the Funeral Home, with burial directly following, at Rose Hill Cemetery, in Hamilton. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Aaron and Megan Allen Scholarship Fund c/o First Financial Bank, 3rd & High St. Hamilton, OH 45011.
