Douglas "Doug" Luman, 85, of Fairfield, OH passed away peacefully on Wednesday June 25, 2025. Born on March 30, 1940, in Hamilton, Doug spent his life rooted in the community he loved. He built a career and reputation in the HVAC industry, eventually running his own company. Known for his hard work, steady hands, and a sharp mind, Doug was the person everyone called when something needed fixing - and he always showed up. Outside of work, Doug enjoyed spending time on the water with a fishing pole in hand. He loved bass fishing, especially when it meant a day on the lake with friends. He also valued spending time with family, whether gathering for a holiday, birthday, or even watching a game, never missing out on a moment spent together. Doug is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Judy Luman; his daughter Lisa Lucke (John); his grandchildren, Taylor Lucke (Kayla) and Suzanne Lucke (Clarissa); and his two great-grandsons, Leo and Milo Lucke, who brought him endless joy in his later years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion Van Camp Luman and Dorothy Luman (Nieberlien). Family and friends are invited to honor Doug's life on Tuesday, July 1, Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 7:00 PM, with a service to follow (7:00pm) at Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd.
