Earl Frederick Jr., age 79 of Fairfield, OH, passed away on Thursday January 17, 2013 at the Sterling House of Fairfield. He was born June 11, 1933 in Hamilton, OH. He was employed at the Pepsi Company for 40 years; he also worked at the National Life Insurance Company, and the Kroger in Fairfield. Earl was a member and past president of the Fairfield Optimist Club, and attended Hope Lutheran Church.
Earl is preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Geraldine; sisters, Shirley Jones, Faye (Ed) Rose, and Catherine (Johnny) Ballauer; parents, Earl Sr. and Elizabeth Schweinfest.
He is survived by his son, Michael (Karen) Schweinfest; granddaughter Alyson Schweinfest and grandson Evan Schweinfest; brother, Carl (Nancy) Schweinfest; sister, June (Bill) Beckman; brothers in law, Ron (Mickie) Nabors, Jim Nabors; and sister in law Bobbie Helfrey.
Visitation will be Saturday January 19, 2013 from 10-11 a.m. at Hope Lutheran Church, 4695 Blue Rock Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45247. Funeral service will follow at 11a.m. with Pastor Lisa Arrington officiating. Interment will follow at Millville Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Earl's life following the burial at Symmes Tavern on the Green, 500 Wessel Drive, Fairfield, OH 45014.
