Born in McKeesport, PA on June 30, 1938, Edward S. Chapman was called from this earth on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at the age of 73. He married his high school sweetheart, Shirley Zeh Chapman on March 21, 1959 in Elizabeth, PA.
Ed was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, friend and Steeler fan. He is survived by his wife Shirley, daughter's; Joyce (Jack) Looby, Jennifer (Robert) Cronin and sons Scott Chapman and Robert (Amy) Chapman, sister Arlene Caldwell, and the Joys of His Life, his Grandchildren. He retired from Champion Papers in 2000 after 35 years of service.
Hank or "Pappy" as many affectionately called him was known for the love of his family and the memories he created for all those around him. Some of his best times were spent spoiling his grandchildren. Always willing to give you an honest opinion about anything, he had the most honest of hearts. For those of you who knew him well, knew he loved his Pittsburgh Steelers and waving the Terrible Towel.
Life creates different opportunities to find happiness for those who are willing to search for it, for this man it was really quite simple. To him, happiness came in the most true and effortless way; the love he shared with his family.
