Edgar Doyle
October 18, 1919 — August 10, 2007
Age 87 formerly of Fairfield, OH passed away, August 10, 2007 at Windhaven Assisted Living in Temperance, MI. He was born October 18, 1918 in Clay County, KY, the son of Lee and Mary (Abner) Doyle. On July 13, 1943 Edgar married Ann Kaltenbrun in Shelbyville, KY. He was a member of: East River Road Baptist Church; Oneida Lodge No. 736, F. & A.M.; Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, Valley of Cincinnati; Hamilton Shrine Club; and the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels.
Mr. Doyle is survived by his daughters, Mary Lee (John) Waszak of Lambertville, MI, Angela Arent of Trenton, OH and Edwina Doyle of Lexington, KY; brother, David Doyle; sisters, Beda Davish, Jeanne James, Louise Barrish and Stella Englehardt; 5 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Ann on December 31, 1988; daughter, Lynda Sue Johnson; and 9 siblings.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, August 16, 2007 at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield, OH 45014 with Pastors Tim White and Jim Williford officiating. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Wednesday followed by Masonic Services and Scottish Rite Ring Service conducted by Washington Lodge No. 17, F. & A.M.
