Edna Hensley
August 13, 1930 — January 7, 2009
Age 78 of Fairfield passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at her home. She was born August 13, 1930 in Hamilton, the daughter of Albert and Cora (Philpot) Tirey. On June 17, 1950 Marie married Merle Hensley in Newport, KY. She worked for General Electric until her retirement in 1990.
Marie is survived by her children, Terri (Steve) Comer, Mark (Linda) Hensley, and Jeff (Jenny) Hensley; grandchildren, Jason (Kristin) Moore, Ryan Moore and Katie, Rebecca and Jack Hensley; and great-grandchildren, Jackson and Dylan Moore. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Merle on May 30, 2002; and brother Ed Tirey.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. - until time of service (11 a.m.), Saturday, January 10, 2009 at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery. Condolences may be sent at www.avancefuneralhome.com.
