Edward Emrick
January 11, 1934 — November 9, 2013
Age 79 of Fairfield passed away Saturday, November 9, 2013 at Jewish Hospital. He was born January 11, 1934 in Hamilton, OH, the son of Elwood and Blanche (Lintner) Emrick. On May 19, 1979 Edward married Rose Marie (nee Cianciolo) in Jellico, TN. He retired from Conrail Railroad after 44 years and was a veteran, serving in the US Army. Ed was a devoted member of the First Baptist Church in Hamilton and an avid supporter of the Miami University Red Hawks.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Rose Marie Emrick; children, Cathy (Brian) Thompson, Greg Emrick, Steve (Laura) Emrick, Susan Cook, Todd (Rebecca) Emrick, and Melanie (Joseph) Kloth; 18 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 1 brother; and 1 sister. Edward was preceded in death by his parents.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. - until time of memorial service (11 a.m.), Saturday, November 16, 2013 at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield with Jack Young officiating.
