Bock, Elaine A.
Age 90, of Fairfield, Ohio died February 16, 2012. Elaine was born in Camden, Ohio on December 1921. She was the daughter of Arthur and Elizabeth (Mayer) Merz. She was married to Earl A. Bock, in Hamilton on November 22, 1945. He preceded her in death.
Elaine loved to play cards with her friends and worked as a volunteer for a number of community services.
Survived by her children, David Bock and wife Pam of Fairfield, Ohio and Daniel Bock and wife MeLisa Bock of Monroe, Ohio, and Douglas Bock and wife Nancy Bock of Fairfield, Ohio and Karen Bowling, of Hamilton, Ohio and Ellen Bacon and husband Stephe of Fairfield, Ohio; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren; sisters Ruth Bain and Kathleen Witt. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Arthur (Bud) Merz and brother, James (Jim) Merz.
Visitation will be held Sunday, February 19, 2012 from 5 PM to 8 PM. Additional visitation will begin at 9:00 AM Monday, February 20 at Avance Funeral Home with funeral services to follow at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church 400 Nilles Road, Fairfield, Ohio 45014. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be given to Hospice of Hamilton 1010 Eaton Ave, Hamilton, OH 45013.
