Elaine Ann (Hoelle) Haubner

HAUBNER Elaine Ann, age 86, of Hamilton passed away on January 31, 2014 at University Hospital, Cincinnati, OH, from her injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on February 8, 1927 to Leo and Lorraine (nee Kolbenstetter) Hoelle. Elaine was employed at Mercy Hospital as a Registrar until time of her retirement. She was proud of her children her grand and great grandchildren; she was an avid reader and she continuously listened and learned throughout her life. Elaine loved to drive a car and eat at buffet style restaurants. As a young woman she took long walks to reflect and enjoy the sunshine; she enjoyed fishing along with keeping score at softball games. Elaine leaves to her memory her devoted children, Jean Pennisi, David (Kara) Haubner, Joan (Kent) Vail, Bill (Clare) Brady, Joe (Ginny) Haubner, and Shirley (Dave) Tobergte; 18 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Herbert (Adela) Hoelle, Esther (Vern) Haubner, Warren Hoelle, and James (Janet) Hoelle. Elaine was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Russell and Ronald; and her sister in law Sally. Visitation will be Thursday, February 6, 2014 from 3:30-5:30 p.m. at the Avance Funeral Home and Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield, OH 45014.
