Eleanor M. (Burnett) Fitzpatrick

FITZPATRICK

Eleanor May, age 91 of Fairfield passed away at Westover Retirement Community on Monday, April 23, 2018. She was born on July 9, 1926 in Springdale, OH to the late Clyde and Edith Burnett. She married James Fitzpatrick on May 11, 1946, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 29, 1991.

Eleanor enjoyed square dancing, music, shopping, and playing cards. She adored her family. She was very charitable, and many local organizations appreciated her never-ending generosity. She loved St. Marks United Methodist Church in Fairfield and was an active member for many years.

She was preceded in death by her two brothers Clyde (Ann) Burnett and Robert Burnett and her sister Betty (Eddie) Ruhl.

She is survived by her two sons, Keith (Kim) Fitzpatrick and Michael (Kathleen) Fitzpatrick; two grandchildren, Kimberly (Doug) Carlson and Kathryn (Brady) Abner; and five great-grandchildren, Charlotte, Mason, Reed, Maura, and Phoebe.

Visitation will be held on Sat. April 28 from 10:00 - 11:00 A.M. at Avance Funeral Home at 4976 Winton Rd. in Fairfield. The funeral service will be held at 11:00, and burial will immediately follow at Crown Hill Memorial Park. Denny Mullen will officiate.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the entire staff at Westover Retirement Center for their loving care.
