Eleanor Jones
June 30, 1928 — July 12, 2007
Age 79 of Hamilton, passed away Thursday, July 12, 2007 at Butler County Care Facility. She was born in Hamilton on June 30, 1928. She married Walter L. Jones August 21, 1948 in Hamilton. He later preceded her in death in 1987. Eleanor was a member of the Lindenwald United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her son, Dean A. Jones; daughter, Vickie L. (nee Jones) Kimen; sisters-in-law, Louise Jones and Kathryn Parker; grandchildren, Carrie Owens, Garry Jones, Jr., Jonathan Jones, Allison Jones, and Angie Clark; great-grandchildren, Dylan, Destiny, Brayden, and Andrew. Eleanor was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Garry L. Jones; and sister, Alta Parker.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. - until time of service (11:30 a.m.), Monday, July 16, 2007 at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Memorials may be made to the Lindenwald United Methodist Church or to the American Cancer Society.
