Elenora G. Grubb
January 15, 1930 — March 19, 2004
Elenora (Shaffer) Grubb, age 74 of West Chester, OH, formerly of Sciotoville, passed away Friday, March 19, 2004 at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati. She was born January 15, 1930, the daughter of Charles and Evelyn (Hill) Shaffer. On March 24, 1960 she married Paul L. Grubb in Norwood, OH. She was a retired Dietary Technician and a member of the Volunteers in Parks program at Rocky Fork Lake.
She is survived by her husband, Paul; son, Dr. William (Jeanette) Moore; daughters, Joyce (Rick) Merritt, LMT and Dr. Paula (John Riedel) Grubb; grandchildren, Aaron Moore, Rachel Manley, Beth Moore and Chris Merritt; and sisters, JoAnn Wilson, Kate Smith and Violet Monteith. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Harry Shaffer; and sisters, Alma Munn, Mary Imhoff and Norma Woods.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. Tuesday March 23, 2004 until the time of service at 2:30 p.m. at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield. Burial: Crown Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made in her name to: Volunteers in Park Program, Rocky Fork State Park, 9800 North Shore Dr., Hillsboro, OH 45133.
