Elizabeth S. Friedrich

Elizabeth S. Friedrich, age 96 of Fairfield passed away Friday December 30, 2005 at Mercy Hospital of Fairfield. She was born June 7, 1909 in Economy, PA, the daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth (Haller) Schaaf. She later became the wife of Arthur Leonard Friedrich. Elizabeth was a member of the Messiah Lutheran Church and was a recipient of the City of Fairfield Mayoral Proclamation. Mrs. Friedrich also was the President of Senior Citizens and enjoyed being a "Grandmother Reader" at the Lane Public Library.

She is survived by her children, Arthur (Jan) Friedrich of Fairfield, Leonard Friedrich of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and Gail (Clyde) Lipps of Fairfield; 6 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Joseph Schaaf; and sister, Katie Schaaf.
