Ella M. (Johnson) Cornett

CORNETT
Ella (nee Johnson) – age 70 of Hamilton passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2016.  She was born October 18, 1945 in London, KY to the late Willie B. and Daisy Johnson (nee Philpot).  On November 17, 1962 in Lindenwald, Ohio she married her husband John Cornett who preceded her in death in 2005.  She is survived by her daughter Leah (Todd) Harding; her beloved grandchildren John and Rachel Harding; brothers Butch (Roberta) Johnson and Willie E. Johnson; sisters Francis Cornett, Millie (Quentin) Cornett and Sharon (Nick) Harwood; also survived by her lifelong friend Ruth Smith and numerous family and friends.  She is preceded in death by her daughter Vickie Church, brother Gilbert Johnson and sister Margie Baker.  Ella was a devoted wife, mother, sister and friend.  She was a faithful member of The Lord’s Church that meets at the Greater Hamilton Church of Christ.  A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 17, 2016 at 1PM at the Avance Funeral Home and Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield, OH, 45014 with visitation from 11AM until time of service.  Online condolences may be left for the family by visiting www.avancefuneralhome.com.
