Ellen L., age 73, of Hamilton, passed away peacefully at Hospice of Hamilton on December 31, 2018. She was born in Chicago, IL on October 7, 1945 to parents Frank and Lois Janco.

Ellen graduated from Garfield High School in 1963 and attended the Christ Hospital School of Nursing. She worked many years as a surgical technician in the operating room and in medical billing, retiring in 2012. In retirement she enjoyed sewing and quilting, and her family is grateful to have these precious handmade keepsakes. One of her biggest passions was fostering greyhounds and advocating for their adoption; this is something that she did for over twenty years.

Ellen was preceded in death by her loving parents and older brother, John. She is survived by her two sons, Mark Wells and Timothy (Elyse) Wells, and her beloved grandson, Connor. She will be laid to rest at the Greenwood Cemetery in a private service with the family.
