Elmer J. Pendegraft
September 25, 1936 — June 26, 2007
Age 70 of Fairfield, formerly of Surgoinsville, TN went to be with his Lord on June 26, 2007 at Mercy Hospital of Fairfield, OH. He was born September 25, 1936 in Pennington Gap, VA, the son of Elmer Clayton and Marybell (nee Brown) Pendegraft. Elmer worked in the Automotive Industry until his retirement in 1999 due to health reasons.
He is survived by his wife, Glenda (nee Brunner) Pendegraft; children, Sabrina (David) Shepherd, Arthur Lane (Mary) Taylor, Tony Taylor, and Dorrena Wyett; sister, Mary Napier; and many grandchildren. Elmer was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Bill Collier.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. - until time of service (12 Noon), Friday, June 29, 2007 at the Carter-Trent Funeral Home, 1115 Highway 11-W, Church Hill, TN 37642. Burial will follow at Hawkins County Memorial Gardens in Rogersville, TN. Memorials may be made to the Society for Progressive Supranuclear Palsy, Executive Plaza III, 11350 McCormick Rd., Ste. 906, Hunt Valley, MD 21031.
