Emma Ruth Sutton, age 93 of Fairfield passed away August 21, 2004 at Tri-County Extended Care. She was born July 5, 1911 in Crellin, MD, the daughter of Carl and Grace (Kilmer) McCabe. She was the widow of Donald W. Sutton of Fairfield. Emma was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her son Clifford A. Sutton and his wife Evvy of Fairfield; daughter-in-law Marilyn Sutton of Fairfield; 9 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and her son Theodore C. Sutton.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Monday August 23, 2004 at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield with Rev. Ty Choate officiating. Visitation will also be Monday from 10 a.m. - until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be 1 p.m., Tuesday August 24 in Morgantown, WV.
