Eva Frances Hershner, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Tuesday July 29, 2025, at home.
Born on September 19, 1941, in a small town in Kentucky, she was the first daughter to Lodema and Charles Stamper. She grew up in Fairfield Township area and graduated from Fairfield High School in 1959.
Eva married Neil "Butch" Hershner on July 25, 1959, in Hamilton Ohio and together they built a life of love and cherished memories. Together they raised three children, Neil (Donna), Carie, and Scott, who will be forever grateful for her tremendous amount of love and support.
Eva had a passion for slot machines and fast sports which she enjoyed with great enthusiasm. She was known for the best hugs, always running late, and never hanging up the phone without saying I love you.
In addition to her children, Eva is survived by Neil 'Butch' Hershner, her husband of 66 years, grandchildren Nick (Carly) Hershner, Jason McQueen, Dalton (Julie) Myers, Dylan Myers, Mason Hershner, Jada Taylor, Nathaniel Hershner, and India Taylor. As well as great grandchildren Nicholas Hershner and Briella McQueen.
Visitation will be Wednesday August 6, 2025, from 10:00am until the time of service (12:00pm) at Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd. Fairfield, OH 45014. Friends and family are invited to attend to pay their respects and share their memories.
