Evelyn Bowling

Age 82, passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2008. Evelyn was born October 25, 1926, the daughter of Cecil and Helen Pierce in Hamilton. In 1951 she married John D. Bowling whom she was married to for fifty years and preceded her in death.

She is survived by her daughter, Charollette (Lenny) Allen; grandchildren, Alicia (Tod) Gabbard, Miranda Gwinner, Amanda (Jeff) Long, Kris Allen; great-grand children Skylar Evelyn, Isabella Marie, Anastasia Marie, and her dear dog Cuddles.

Evelyn was an amazing lady who enjoyed spending her younger years with her family growing up around the Masonic Temple. She was a kind soul who never knew a stranger. Her laughter and smile was always infectious to everyone she met, and she had a gift of making people feel loved and special. She especially loved being around her family and friends and adored her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was happiest when she could hold and play with her "girls". She will be missed dearly by everyone who knew her because to know her was to be touched and to be changed. She was a hero and an angel.
