Evelyn M. Korver

Age 86, died peacefully at home on April 13, 2009, of natural causes. Born Evelyn Mildred Kretchmar, only child Oscar E. Kretchmar and Mildred Miller, on December 6, 1922, in the Cumminsville area of Cincinnati, OH.
Graduated North College Hill High School (1941), tied for valedictorian. Married Gordon W. Korver (August, 1941), a home builder. Preceded in death by her mother (1923); father (1960), husband (1980); and only daughter, Sharon L. Hawthorne (1981). Survived by son, Timothy. Also survived by two grandchildren, born of daughter Sharon.
Evelyn enjoyed playing the piano and, in later years, dancing to big band music at the Hamilton Senior Center.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. - until time of service (12 Noon), Friday, April 17, 2009 at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield.
