Evelyn P. Ogden

Evelyn P. Ogden, age 81, of Hamilton, Ohio, passed away November 11, 2011 at Fort Hamilton Hospital. Born January 13, 1930 to R. Doyt Pond and Ruth Power Pond. On June 25, 1955 she was joined in marriage to Richard E. Ogden. He preceded her in death in 1994. Evelyn was a 1948 graduate of Hamilton High School, and a 1953 graduate of Bowling Green University in Ohio. She was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority and was president of the sorority her senior year. Evelyn was a life-time member of Lindenwald United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her son David R. (Linda) Ogden, of Phoenix, AZ. Grandson Nicholas Ogden of Laguna Hills, CA, sister Barbara Pond of Hamilton, OH, nieces Jennifer (Ron) Hazelwood and Linda (William) DeBar. Great-nieces Teresa Ruth, Mandy Hazelwood and great nephews Bruce K. Slade and Christopher Hazelwood; other relatives and numerous friends.

Evelyn donated her body to University of Cincinnati Medical School. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held Saturday, November 19, 2011 at Lindenwald United Methodist Church at 11:00 a. m. with Pastors Valerie Waibel and Edwin Beck officiating.
