ROBERTS, Flora (Henson)
Age 87 of Fairfield passed away Monday, August 15, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 8, 1929 in Manchester, KY, the daughter of H.B. and Martha (Foister) Henson. On July 2, 1946 Flora married J.C. Roberts in Manchester, KY. She was a member of Faith Pentecostal Church in New Miami.
She leaves behind her loving husband of 70 years, J.C. Roberts; children, John (Sandy) Roberts, Eddie (Mae) Roberts, J.C. Junior (Jana) Roberts, Wanda (Kenneth) Smith and Belinda (Gary) Dunaway; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Scott, Nick, Matt, Keith, Tonya, Rosa, Christina, Lupe; 18 great-grandchildren; and siblings, George Henson and Bessie Stubbs. Flora was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Charlie, Elbert Shade, John Henry; sisters, Della, Dora; and granddaughter, Carrie.
The family would like to thank all the caregivers for their special care of our mother, and all of our friends and church family for the many prayers.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Thursday, August 18, 2016 at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Friday, at the funeral home with Pastors Jerry Pascarella and Nathan Morris officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park in Hamilton.
