Frances L. Bachman

Age 67 of Hamilton, Ohio lost her battle to cancer on Saturday, April 11, 2009, at Hospice of Hamilton. Fran, born in New Vienna, Ohio on March 16, 1942, to her late parents, Harvey G. and Lorraine Powell, is preceded in death by her brother, David G. Powell, and infant sister, Carolyn Powell.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 47 years, Robert J. Bachman; devoted daughter, Suzanne E. Scheidler; son-in-law, Dr. Peter A. Scheidler; three loving grandchildren, Tori, Sydney and Kurt Scheidler of Hamilton; sister, Lois J. (Mark W.) Frye of San Antonio, Texas; brother, Richard E. Powell of Hamilton; nephews, Scott Mayer of Texas, Shane (Melissa) Mayer of Middletown; nieces, Shelly (Shannon) Yeager of Oxford, Stephanie Mayer of Ashburn, Virginia; great nephews, Michael Nash, Randall Mayer and Matthew Yeager; great nieces, Lauren Mayer, Morgan Yeager and Britany Wisecup; great great niece, Paytin Nash; and many cherished relatives. Fran will be truly missed and always in the hearts of her family and dear friends. Special thanks to Fran's dearest friends, Sandy Vitale, Judy Mitchell, Jenny Klingel, Sandi Eucks, Cynthia Huffman and Glenna Huffman for their friendship and support over the years. Fran was a beautiful and selfless woman who unyieldingly gave of herself to others without hesitation.

Memorial services will be 11 a.m., Thursday, April 16, 2009, at the St. Maximilion Kolby Catholic Church, 5720 Hamilton Mason Rd., Liberty Township 45011.
