Frank T. Mittiga, age 89, of Hamilton, Ohio, passed away peacefully in his home on Saturday January 3, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Born on March 22, 1936, Frank (Sonny) was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose warmth and kindness touched all who knew him.

Frank was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lois A. (King) Mittiga, who passed away in November of 2021. He is survived by his sister, Joanne O’Neil, and his four children: Jody L. Mittiga, Jamie M Powell, Julie M Rowland, and Joseph M Mittiga. Frank’s legacy lives on through his seven cherished grandchildren and one great grandchild—with two more great grandchildren soon to join the family.

Frank’s dedication to his family was evident in every aspect of his life. He found joy in family gatherings, celebrating milestones, and sharing stories with those he loved. His gentle spirit, wisdom, and unwavering support will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.

Celebration of Life:

Family and friends are invited to honor Frank’s memory at a Celebration of Life gathering, which will be held at the home of Jamie M Powell, 189 Annandale Drive, Fairfield, OH 45014, on Monday, January 12, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
