Franklin D. Thomas

THOMAS, Franklin D., age 81, of Fairfield; formerly of Fairlawn, Ohio, passed away on February 15, 2016. He is the loving husband of Diane (nee Bills) Thomas; father of Annette Williams, Philip (Dawn) Thomas, Franklin (Diane) Thomas, Monica (Michael) Lee, and Rita Thomas; grandfather of 4 and one great-granddaughter. Franklin is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. He is a former Civil Engineer in Stark County; Vice Chair for PERI Board of Trustees, volunteer for Fairfield Court System, Mercy Fairfield Hospital, and Fairfield FOPA, and member of Knights of Columbus. Visitation: 5-7 pm, Friday, 2/19 at the Avance Funeral Home, Fairfield. Mass of Christian burial 10:30 am, Saturday, 2/20 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, Cincinnati, with visitation at the church at 9:30 am.
